SECRET PAL 8 QUESTIONARIE

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
Not into synthetic fibers unless doing charity knitting as I prefer natural fibers.
2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?
A Dr. Seuss mug.
3. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?
My grandmother taught me to knit at age 8/9 and I knit at an intermediate to advanced level, though there are still lots of techniques that I want to master.
4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Yes, there is one on Amazon.
5. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
Love a wide variety of scents but not rose.
6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?
Unfortunately I have a sweet tooth and love caramels.
7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?
I am a spinner who also likes to dye fiber, felt and make beaded jewelry.
8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
Folk, world music and classical.
9. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?
While I adore most colors, if I am going to wear it then blue based colors work best for me.
10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
Divorced, living alone with the dog and loving it but fortunate enough to have grown children and new granddaughter very close by.
11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?
No to ponchos, tried them in the 60’s and they didn’t work for me them.
12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?
I have parameters that are way too wide to settle on a favorite.
13. What are you knitting right now?
Socks, sweater and a scarf.
14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?
Adore it.
15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?
Like them all.
16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?
Yes to both.
17. How did you learn to knit?
Grandma.

3 years old

Halloween

Pop-up books and storybook character dolls.

I buy all of mine monthly from my lys
22. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?
I still would like to master intarsia.
23. Are you a sock knitter? What are your foot measurements?
I always have a pair of socks on the needles. My shoe size is 8.5.
