STARLIGHT EVENING SHAWL

While I finished knitting this a couple of weeks ago, it took some time to get around to blocking it. Since this is a very large shawl I had to do it in two parts which was a bit tricky. But the end result was worth it.

This was done in a two ply cashmere and is very soft and lovely to the touch. However since it is so lacy and the yarn seems delicate, I wonder if I will ever have the courage to wear it. If I wasn't saving money for SOAR, I would have to make a visit to the neighbor who sells this yarn and get some more for the stash

CASHMERE SILK

I bought this cashmere/silk roving from Celia Quinn last March during the GLASG workshop and finally spun it up. It is so very soft and lovely that I am sorry that I did not purchase more. I was a little put off by the beige of the cashmere but it overdyed beautifully. It's not quite four ounces but should be enough for a small scarf or some fingerless mitts for a Christmas gift.
